Drawing With Exposure Time

Light painting is difficult to explain because the finished photograph hides the duration that made it. This independent workshop installation puts time back into the image. A fixed camera anchors the viewpoint, dashed guides reveal the performance volume and repeated translucent figures show how one body carries light through several moments. The luminous spiral is both result and diagram. Tools remain visible nearby, keeping the effect connected to ordinary equipment rather than unexplained spectacle. The participant can see that the camera does not capture an object; it accumulates a journey. Photography becomes choreography written in exposure, with darkness serving as the page rather than the absence of content.
