The Record Still Has Edges

This independent release study takes the band's distressed star out of a single image and lets it accumulate evidence of use. The gatefold sleeve carries the largest gesture; the record label reduces it to a blunt symbol; passes, picks and booklet fragments allow the same language to survive hands, pockets and stage light. Black, dirty white and red remain deliberately limited so photography and wear can provide the variation. The system is loud without needing more colours and physical without pretending to be vintage. A record is not only a container for sound. It is a sequence of thresholds: first sight, first touch, first needle drop, and eventually the corners that remember where it has been.
